OneGoal, a nonprofit organization committed to continuously increasing youth hockey participation in North America, is launching a bold new initiative called Vitamin H. The campaign features a series of posters, which rinks, hockey associations, retailers, schools and consumers can download and print from onegoal.com. The new posters blend hockey-related objects with food to illustrate how the sport of hockey can help build happy, healthy kids. It’s Vitamin H!
“We’re thrilled to share this idea with kids in North America,” said Len Rhodes, general manager for Reebok-CCM Hockey. “With the prevalence of childhood obesity, Vitamin H offers the perfect opportunity to get off the couch this fall and winter.”
The Vitamin H campaign posters will be available online at onegoal.com on Aug. 8 and will move into advertisements, apparel and bumper stickers over the course of the next few months.
“OneGoal’s vision is to eliminate real and perceived barriers to entry for hockey and reinforce the positive aspects of the game,” said Rhodes. “We believe the Vitamin H campaign provides a platform to help start a conversation about hockey with parents and kids.”
Already, OneGoal has sent out over 13,000 equipment starter kits to North American hockey associations in anticipation of this winter’s increased Vitamin H recommended intake!
