Bioethics

Bioethics
Definition
Bioethics is a more inclusive term for ethics in clinical
medicine. It is normative ethics applied to decision
making and public policy in the domains of biology,
medicine, and health care. It is also concerned with
matters of basic scientific research and with the social
applications of biological knowledge and biomedical
technology. It is a new, broad field of study that has
arisen largely during the last few decades, as new powers,
new choices, and new dilemmas have been opened
up by the biological revolution.
