WheyUp, a sports beverage company based in Gilbert, has signed a deal for Vitamin World to sell its drinks in more than 400 retail locations across the nation.
“Part of our distribution strategy is to increase the number of retail locations where WheyUp is sold, so we’re pleased to be partnering with Vitamin World,” said WheyUp inventor and co-founder Erik Rothchild. “Vitamin World is a true heavyweight in the nutritional supplement industry.”
WheyUp products combine 20 grams of whey protein with an energy formula in a sugar-free, noncarbonated beverage. WheyUp will be sold at Vitamin World in ready-to-drink, 16-ounce plastic bottles and 12-packs. It comes in two flavors: wild berry and tropical citrus.
The deal with Vitamin World comes on the heels of an agreement with Importive SA to distribute WheyUp products in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. WheyUp also recently inked a deal for International Health Investments to distribute its products across Australia.
