A vegan way of life is very effective at curing all manner of diseases and illnesses.
The basis of the vegan diet is to eliminate all processed carbohydrates and animal fats. So a vegan follower would obtain all their daily requirements from the consumption of raw foods.
Raw foods can provide superior quality protein, vitamins, enzymes, minerals, good fats and carbohydrates.
This way of living eliminates all diseases including that of eczema because disease cannot flourish in an environment which is highly alkaline.
Illness and disease will thrive in an acidic environment which as an eczema sufferer is applicable to you.
But living a 100% vegan lifestyle is not the only way to improve your health and eliminate your eczema.
You can create a diet that is between say, 50 - 75% vegan and still achieve amazing results with your skin.
If you suffer with very bad eczema you should start off at the top end, that is 75% raw. Once your skin improves and you are happy with your results you may reduce the amount of raw foods you consume to about 50%.
What you must ensure is that the foods you are eating on the semi-vegan fare contain all the vitamins, protein, minerals, enzymes fats and carbohydrates that your body requires.
Foods in general are very important for your general health and have three main purposes.
1) Food regulates your bodily processes;
2) Food provides energy; and
3) Food builds and renews your cells.
A vegan lifestyle will ensure all the above and more.
